Practicality First, Purpose Second (The reason your purpose hasn’t paid you yet… is because you’re skipping the part where people should care.

Making an income doing what you love logically just doesn’t make sense to most people anymore.

It actually comes off like you’re trying to be smart when you say it out loud.

Say something like, “I just want to help people through writing, coaching or motivational speaking” and you’ll get blank stares, followed by a quick pivot in conversation.

Because most people have been trained to only value what’s practical and logical, not what’s purposeful. This is our survival mechanism in full swing.

But unless payed attention and your lens readjusted, this is all you’ll ever get.

But here’s the thing…

What if practicality is the doorway to purpose? What if you’ve been approaching it backwards this whole time? What if there’s a real way to link what we love to do and get paid to do it?…hmmmmm.

See, when you bring up the idea of meaningful, purpose-driven work to someone who doesn’t believe income can flow from passion, be prepared.

They’ll hit you with skepticism. Not because they’re haters.

But because they can’t see the bridge between what they love… and how it can actually help someone else. That bridge is called practical value.

And until you build it, no one cares how passionate you are.

People don’t pay for your purpose. They pay for how your purpose helps them. If you never learn how to package that value practically, your purpose will remain just another passion project.

And that we can’t have my friend.

So this is what you’ll learn in this letter:

  1. Why purpose without practicality keeps most people broke
  2. The Practical Meaning Matrix that helps you ask better questions
  3. How to link your skills to a real market need
  4. A 5-question framework to turn what you love into something people pay for

1. Purpose Feels Good. Practicality Is What Pays Bills.

Most people want to live a meaningful life. Which I can completely understand, I mean who want’s to wake up everyday doing what they hate or what their not even good at for the sake of survival?

This unfortunately is where we’ve ended up though. Not so much out of choice, but out of not asking enough questions.

And more importantly. the RIGHT questions. Questions that challenge assumptions, comfort and the status quo we were taught to follow at a very young age.

The average person won’t ask the hard questions necessary to bridge the gap between where they are and the reality they desire to live.

They want to feel fulfilled… without becoming valuable. That’s not how it works. Fulfillment follows utility (what real world value can I project into a market place and see a return).

Call it what you want, but utility comes from skill acquisition. Structure. Leverage and Relevance. Don’t be fooled. You don’t need another motivational reel on IG.

What you need is a system to turn your inspiration into a system that other people can profit from.

And if that’s the path you’re on and want to link with others who are pursuing the same. Then join The inner circle Brand Your Reality Telegram Group and start getting real strategy daily on how to build a lifestyle, brand and business that matters to you.

2. The Practical Meaning Matrix

Powerful questions lead to equally or more powerful answers wouldn’t you agree? The average questions asked by people are pretty bad to say the least. How do I know?

Because I didn’t know how to ask them either at one point. Questions like:

“How do I find my purpose?”

• “How can I help people?”

• “What should I do with my life?”

These are too vague to change anything. Instead, use the Practical Meaning Matrix. It helps you shift from powerless to precise. Once you get clear on answers that bridge the gap between practicality and purpose, everything changes forever.

Here’s how it works:

Quadrant 1: Big & Specific

→ “How can I help 100 creators launch a $5K offer in 6 months?”

Leads to mastery, income, and impact.

Quadrant 2: Big & Broad

→ “How can I help the world?”

Motivating. But no plan.

Quadrant 3: Small & Broad

→ “How can I be more helpful?”

Feels good. Gets ignored.

Quadrant 4: Small & Specific

→ “How can I gain 5 new followers this week?”

Too small to move the needle.

You want to live a more meaningful life? You want to learn how to make the leap and close the gap between the what, the why and the how to create an income on you’re terms?

Simple answer. Ask better questions.

Big ones. Specific ones. Ones that demand you rise.

This isn’t some fluffy idea I just put together.

This exactly what I use to architect my own brand, guide my own life and business while helping others to do the same.

I’m offering it to you if you’re interested, you can Download it Here if you’re looking for some immediate results for learning how to monetize your skills, purpose and knowledge while bridging the gap between what you want to do and how to make it matter to others.

Listen, I’ll be completely honest bro, there’s no easy fix to the meaning crisis in the world today, but there’s always an action we “Can” take vs. what we “Should, Would or Could” take.

Success loves speed and failure thrives in procrastination. Move with precision, intention and strategy or remain a victim of analysis paralysis.

Your choice.

3. Your Skills Are the Bridge to Purpose, Build Them Wisely.

I’m a writer. A business consultant. And a marketer..this is true but my purpose was and always will be to help people through high level writing at the end of the day. (If you’re reading this letter then i’m sure you can tell that by now).

But that didn’t matter until I studied psychology, communication, and personal branding. Real tangible and transferrable skills that others can profit from.

I turned my passion into a practical offer and transformation that people could consume in real time.

And that’s what most people miss.

They want to feel excited by their work, but they haven’t built the bridge between their joy and someone else’s need. If you’re looking for something more “Practical” then here it is.

The formula:

Purpose × Skill × Practical Offer = A Meaningful Business

4. The 5 Business Questions That Unlock Purpose

If you’re stuck chasing passion with no plan, here’s how to fix it. It’s simple, yet surface level enough to still be considered effective.

Remember it’s the quality of our questions the dictate the power of the answers were seeking, not quantity.

Answer these 5 questions with brutal clarity:

  1. Who can I help?
→ Start with the old you.
  2. What can I do to help them?
→ Focus on solving one high-value problem.
  3. Where can I be the most effective?
→ Pick one platform. Dominate it.
  4. When can I start?
→ Right now. Imperfect is fine.
  5. Why is this important to me?
→ Because this is your shot to build your world, not someone else’s.

These aren’t just reflective prompts. They’re the DNA of every business model that’s working and thriving right now. The truth is shockingly simple. Yet difficult to accept.

Big creators with personal brands didn’t start on the mountain top. They started with doing the simple thing, the one highly leveraged skill they could build upon every day. And gradually over time, they got better, eventually reaching a place of mastery.

Making what looks hard, easy.

Sometimes you just need an outlined path to take, one I wish I had when I first got started.

Which is exactly why I created The One Person Business Blueprint for this exact reason, a literal roadmap and step by step systematized approach to building a 1 person brand and business from the ground up.

It’s free and can turn you confusion into crystal clear clarity, and that clarity into cash. But only if you’re willing to put in the work. Feel free to→ Grab It Here

At the end of they day.

You don’t need to chase purpose. You need to become the person who delivers value so consistently, that the discovery of you’re purpose becomes a natural result of the process.

When you start asking the right questions. When you build something real…

That’s when life starts to get interesting all over again.

But that’s all I got for now.
